This rifle will be asked to cover a lot of different situations. As a result more then one gun might be in order. Our new Light Varminter in .243 or 6.5x.284 Win. would be a great medium to long range coyote or antelope rifle if the weather wasn't too bad. The Custom High Country would be a great choice if you were looking at covering all you bases. Because of the Teflon metal finish, weather conditions will not be a factor. A rifle like this in 25-06 Rem. or .270 Win. will sure put a lot of meat on the table.

Custom High Country (our Flagship Rifle) - Lightweight, Tough-as-nails and Super-accurate

Shown: Custom High Country with Winchester Model 70 action with Black Teflon metal finish and Ghost Grey stock finish. This rifle is a .300 WSM caliber which is great for medium to large game throughout the world, with Talley custom Non-Detachable scope mounts.

Light Varminter™ Rifle NEW from Brown Precision - A 'Lighter' 500 Yard Varmint Rig

Shown:  Light Varminter in .243 Win. caliber.  Winchester model 70 action and classic style stock in desert camo.  Leupold Vari-X III in 6.5-20 with Mil-Dot reticule and Talley scope mounts.

Basically the same as the Pro Varminter, but with a lighter overall weight for carrying. These are primarily used for coyote, fox, etc. when you don't want to carry a really heavy varmint rifle, but still have all the accuracy of the Pro Varminter.

Built on either the Remington 700 or Model 7 action, the Light-Varminter features a hand fitted Shilen Match Grade Heavy Benchrest barrel custom chambered in your favorite standard or wildcat varmint caliber.
